Once again, I extend a hearty welcome to the parents, and thank them for reposing their faith and confidence in the school management to provide the best possible education to their wards. I also welcome the prospective parents who wish to enroll their wards in The Indian Public School, and invite them to visit the campus.

I feel that it is necessary to share with the parents and our well-wishers, the events and antecedents that mooted the idea of opening a boarding school. It was chiefly prompted after meeting parents who rightly claimed that boarding schools in India were structurally configured on the old British pattern of boarding schools and the kind of education that was being imparted, was bereft of the teaching and inculcation of age old, time-tested traditional values that cement the very essence of our existence.

We have carried out necessary changes to shape the school on the lines of a ‘Modern Gurukul.

In pursuance of this thought, the entire IPS fraternity, believes that a well-planned learning space is justified, when the school management enrolls those educators who dedicate their efforts towards the overall development of the students: to empower them with knowledge and skill, to fulfill their dreams and the aspirations of their parents.

The Indian Public School in every sense of the word, is a modernized boarding school with ultramodern architecture and allied facilities. It is different from the rest in terms of prioritizing and according credence to rich human values that are universally acknowledged and remain paramount in the grounding of a good human being; who is modern in outlook; enshrined in values and charged with desire to forge ahead in life and substantially contribute to the society and the country at large.

The entire campus is insulated from outside and is under CCTV surveillance 24/7, manned by trained professionals. The physical well-being of students is under the charge of medically trained professionals who have access to the best Hospitals of Dehradun.

The dining hall of the school serves nutritious meals. The surplus land of the campus has been carefully crafted into an organic farm where vegetables are grown. The school dairy with a substantial number of Sahiwal breed cows, also provide pure milk and dairy products to the dining hall. In this way, we ensure sound growth and good health of our students.

The selection procedure for appointment of educators at the school is stringent,as the school is committed to ensure maintenance of high teaching standards at the school.For this reason, the board results till date, have been very good.
