ICAR-IISWC,RC Udhagamandalam celebrated the Institute 70 th Foundation Day on 07.04.2023 at Research Centre ooty. The programme was inaugurated by lightening the lamp. Shri A MUrugesan, Tech. Officer welcomed the gathering. Dr. P. Sundarambal. Acting Head, addressed the gathering and in her address she spoke about the achievements of the Centre in various spheres namely a Research Training, Consultancy and outreach progarammes and Centre’s contribution towards overall development of the Institute. She appreciated the contribution made by the staff of all categories and solicited the same co-operation in future endeavors too. All Scientists, Technical and Administrative and Skilled Supporting staff also shared their experiences and greeted each other. During the programme in commemoration of international year of Millets Celebration, various millet snacks were distributed to the participants. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Shri A Murugesan, Programme co-ordinator. The Centre’s staff also participated in the celebrations organized by the Institute through virtual mode.
