The field day cum workshop program organized under the Soil Conservation and Sustainability Program (SCSP) of IISWC was a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the sustainability of natural resources. Led by distinguished experts, including Dr. Indu Rawat, Dr. Trisha Roy, Dr. Anupam Barh, Dr. Deepak Singh, Dr. Sadikul Islam, and Dr. Devideen Yadav, the program witnessed active participation from 100 members on February 29, 2024.

The highlight of the event was a workshop focused on soil and water conservation technologies, with the objective of preserving and enhancing the regional natural resources. Various agricultural inputs such as irrigation pipes, storage bins, fodder carrying basket and water tanks were distributed among farmers to support and encourage sustainable agricultural practices.

This endeavor is a crucial step towards promoting environmental conservation, ensuring water and soil sustainability, and bolstering the agricultural sector. The distribution of essential resources underscores the commitment to fostering increased agricultural yields and preserving the delicate ecological balance.
