Hindi quarterly workshop was organized on 27-03-2024 at ICAR-IISWC, RC, Udhagamandalam, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. The programme began with invocation song, welcome address and briefing about the Hindi related works carried out in the centre by Dr. S.M. Vanitha, Senior Scientist & Hindi Officer, ICAR-IISWC, RC, Udhagamandalam. It was followed by lighting of the lamp by Head of the Centre, Dr. Somasundaram Jayaraman, ICAR-IISWC, RC, Udhagamandalam briefed about the importance of the official language use in the office. A lecture and practical session was held on “Use of AI tools for learning and usage of Hindi language” conducted by Dr. S. M. Vanitha, Senior Scientist & Hindi Officer. Around 22 participants including all the scientific, technical, administrative and farm staff of the centre participated in the workshop. The programme was organized under the guidance of Head of the centre and co-ordinated by Dr. S. M. Vanitha, Senior Scientist & Hindi Officer and Shri. George John, Senior technical officer, IISWC, RC, Udhagamandalam. The programme ended by a formal vote of thanks.
