While discussing the tendency of the British rule to forcefully impose its language on the Indians, he mentioned Mahatma Gandhi, Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon and other great men whose efforts enabled Hindi to get the status of the official language of the Union Government in the Constitution of India. He praised the website of the Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, which is completely prepared and updated in Hindi, and thanked the Director. While discussing the provisions mentioned in the context of language in the “National Education Policy 2020”, he informed that Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun has started the work of studying/teaching higher education through the Hindi language and efforts are underway to create a separate department for the Garhwali language.

In his presidential address, the Director of the Institute, Dr. M. It is the duty of all of us to do our work in Hindi language as much as possible. Today, when the Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has given the call to re-establish India as the world leader in the field of modern knowledge and science, the importance of Hindi language increases even more because this dream can be realized only by taking the support of Hindi language.

On this occasion, the Deputy Director (Official Language) of the Institute, Mr. Ashutosh Kumar Tiwari presented a glimpse of the implementation and achievements of Official Language Hindi in the Institute through PPT.
