ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Research Centre, Udhagamandalam organized “Capacity building on updated soil and water conservation techniques” for Skilled Supporting Staffs of this centre for 3 days from 25th to 27th February 2021. The 3 days training concluded on 27.02.2021. Dr. K Kannan, Course Director and acting Head distributed the certificate to the participants and addressed the gathering. The participants gave positive feedback about the training and they informed that the practical classes and Exposure visit regarding nursery techniques, green house maintenance, model watershed and medicinal plant production techniques were highly useful for them. Totally 9 SSS from the centre participated in the training. Dr. S Manivannan, Principal Scientist also addressed the participants. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Dr. V Kasthuri Thilagam, Course co-ordinator.
