On 31/01/2020, The ICAR- IISWC, RC, Ballari has organized a meeting among staffs of the Centre to discuss about the important constitutional amendments and its significance. Dr. S. L.Patil, Head of Centre presided over the programme and briefed about the Indian Constitution and celebration of Constitution day in India. Smt. M. Prabhavathi, Scientist (Soils) explained nine important amendment acts that changed the course of India and Agriculture act and agriculture legislations in the meeting. Scientists and Technical officers actively participated in the discussion and shared few more amendments in this particular event. Impact of Seed act, Farm producers company act etc on famers livelihood security and agriculture production was discussed during the meeting. Nearly 20 participants were present and the programme ended with vote of thanks to the Chair.
