Dr Rajbir Singh, ADG (Agronomy, Agroforestry and Climate change) visited ICAR-IISWC, Dehradun, Uttarakhand on 26th June 2023. An interaction meeting with the scientists of the Institute was organised during the occasion. In the meeting, Dr M. Madhu, Director of the Institute briefed about the targets and achievements of the Institute in his introductory presentation including the details of the technologies developed by the Institute.

During the interaction Dr Rajbir Singh emphasised about the alignment of the targets of the institute with the national priorities, focus on natural farming, development of climate smart watersheds, emphasis on precision farming and promotion of millets cultivation.

Dr Rajbir Singh, also visited TDET-MoRD project interventions executed by the institute in Pasauli village of Vikasnagar block of district Dehradun, where participatory water resource development and its sustainable management through institutional arrangement was appreciated by the ADG, ICAR. The programme was coordinated by Division of HRD&SS under the guidance of Dr Charan Singh, Head of Division.
